We’ve been away for a few days, and just in case you were too, we’ll jump right into it:

First off, we’ve got the the Dead Island DLC dubbed “Bloodbath Arena” which features four different areas where you must fight off endless waves of zombies. All of the XP and money you collect will carry over to the story, so don’t worry about that. We’ll also be introduced to a new weapon called the “Brain Wave Bomb”. “Bloodbath Arena” is due out later this month, so hone those zombie-killing skills of yours and pick it up for $10 or 800 Microsoft points. However, if you pre-ordered the special edition of the game, you have a code in the case for a free download of the DLC.

Vampires are a go for Skyrim. If you just so happen to intentionally or unintentionally catch the disease known as Porphyric Hemophilia, you will gain the advantages and disadvantages that come along with it. You will be harmed by the daylight, gain a power boost and you must feed on the living while they sleep. There will be various levels of vampirism and the transformation is said to completely change the way the game plays. So go ahead and clear out a few weekends for this one, I know I will.

Skyrim is due out November 11th, 2011 on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Remember that time when we raced across the country in that Porsche 911 Carrera S… yeah me neither. But hey, we can actually experience this now in Need for Speed: The Run, you know if for some reason you’ve ever wanted to traverse the unstable roads of a snowy mountain in a super car… Nonetheless, this is only possible if you purchase the Limited Edition of the game, check out the other bonuses you receive at the link.

Need for Speed:The Run is out November 15th, 2011 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

And now we have a new trailer from Namco Bandai Games, Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi. I got hands-on with this and I actually had a bit of fun, also, let me note that this is the only Dragon Ball game I’ve ever played. If this represents the final product in anyway, I’d say we have a solid game hitting our consoles next month. Now, watch as everyone beats the holy hell out of each other, ’cause I know that’s what you’re really here for!

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi will release on October 25th, 2011 on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Last but not least, Gearbox is asking their community just what they would like to see featured in the Collectors Edition of Borderlands 2. Now get on over there and give them an earful about that Claptrap you’ve been crazily wanting in your room…

Also, check out the survey they’re offering and let them know just how you feel about the franchise as it stands.

Borderlands 2 is hitting PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.

Thanks, G4 and Joystiq
