Destiny 2 comes out at midnight for those here in the US. However there are still a lot of things that players who are patiently or impatiently waiting on the game don’t know. For one, GameRant put out an article today that explains Bright Engrams. I know, you’re probably like me right now going “What in the blue taco is a bright engram?!”. Well, let me, with the help of that article explain what it is!
Destiny 2, from what we’ve learned so far, has changed the way you gain and use its in-game currency. While you will still have your engrams to decrypt in the game, and it’s station to do it, there is a different type of engrams that you can only decrypt at Tess Everis. Yes, Tess survived and will be taking these things called “Bright Engrams” and decrypting them for you to unlock cosmetic gear, emotes and shaders amongst other things.
Now, you’re probably wondering, how the hell am I getting these things? One way is by using your real money to buy silver to exchange for bright engrams from the Eververse kiosk. However, there is a free way, every time you level up (after the level cap 20 explains the article), you will be rewarded with a bright engram to decrypt!
Remember this information for tomorrow as Destiny 2 hits consoles September 6, 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4!
